Swirls of color move on the page in smooth abstract designs that capture the eye.
These intriguing images offer the illusion of viewing a tropical flower, golden wheat, colorful upward spiral and stunning display of plum fireworks. Since the 1970s, digital art has been a general term applied to a range of artistic works that employ innovative computer technology as an essential
part of the creative process.

Pleasure of Art

Our featured artist, Brendan Coudal, chose not to pursue his childhood interest in art until he reached a turning point in his life – after the 9/11 tragedy. “It was a time when many of us re-examined our lives,” says Brendan. Shortly after, he used a paint set his father had given him to create his first watercolor beach scene. After studying with several well-known artists, Brendan chose to paint marine life that captured the excitement of sport fishing he gained through his expertise as an angler and charter captain.
