Every day in the early morning, you can find Ann Harris waiting for her backyard bird sanctuary to come to life. Since 2003, Ann has been intrigued with photographing winged beauties throughout paradise. This talented photographer has attracted an amazing variety of birds by scattering bird seed in her backyard and making it a place where birds flourish.

Whether sitting in her yard, walking on the beach or a nature trail, she travels with her Canon camera at all times, just in case the perfect photo opportunity presents itself. Although Ann’s specialty is photographing birds, she also takes great pleasure in capturing all types of nature subjects.

Ann Harris has experienced the pre-stige of being our cover artist for our February 2004 issue when we featured her extraordinary work titled, Eye of the Storm.
