Local photographer Albertine “Tena” Ellinwood recently traded the verdant mountains and woodlands of Vermont and New Hampshire for the beaches of Southwest Florida.

Inspired by the interplay of natural light and reflection, Tena’s photography reflects her vision of the world around her. Whether she’s walking along wildlife trails, on turtle patrol, or admiring a sunset, Tena takes her camera every where. “I am always trying to capture something unique. My goal is to evoke the same emotion for those who view my photographs as I had when I initially looked through the lens of the camera,” she says. A multi-talented artist and pianist, she enjoys an active lifestyle filled with marathon running, hiking, and biking.
