Even Flowers Must Have Wings
Flying so gracefully, she flutters and spreads her delicate yet vibrant wings.
Landing on crimson flowers, her golden silk rests upon nature’s blooms.
The petals lure her, and she glides from blossom to blossom, slowly sipping the sweet nectar of life.
But only for a moment, and then she soars into the wind. Who will see her next?
Nature’s gentle gifts are all around us. Let’s look for the wings and flowers, and things that make us smile.
I share this golden light of thanksgiving as a gift and a sign in this Gulf Coast Living Moment in Time.
