Americana Kitchen & Bath can meet almost any

remodeling,” says Dan Lowe, who with his wife Tane,
owns Americana Kitchen & Bath. “But,” he adds,
“resale is not the only reason to remodel a
kitchen or bath. It’s also for the homeowners’ own
personal enjoyment.”
Dan has been in the construction business for over
30 years, working in all phases of commercial and
residential construction. Tane, whose father was a
builder and roofer, was born into the construction
business and loves it. Their company works with
some new construction, but specializes in
remodeling. “There is a sense of accomplishment in
being able to take something old and dated, and
transform it into something beautiful,” shares
Dan. “Updating a kitchen or bath can change the
whole personality of a home.”
A
new custom design center and showroom is open at
Americana,
or the showroom can come to your home via a new
software program called “Virtual Showroom.” With a
computer and a few clicks of the mouse, you can
select flooring, wall color, cabinet style and
finish, countertop surfaces, and appliances. Tane
reveals, “It’s surprising how often people change
their mind about what they want once they can see
how it is going to look.” |

Many of Americana’s jobs are done while the
homeowners are out of state, with customer contact
done by phone and e-mail. “That way they can come
home to a beautiful new kitchen or bath,” Dan
explains.

countertops. Dan shares, “We truly pride ourselves
on the premium brands we carry, and the quality of
our installation. And, if there’s ever a problem
with a job or product, we go back and take care of
it.”
