2. Create a care plan for any family member who may be immobile at the time of impending disaster.

3. A contact plan needs to be implemented so each family member is notified should a disaster be pending, and each person must know the chosen out-of-town contact,

Painting walls white, or another bright color such as yellow or blue, will keep the space feeling open. Doorways and moldings should be a rich brown like walnut or cherry. These will contrast nicely against the bright walls and accent the room.
