Creating
decorative Easter eggs in bright spring hues is easier than
you might think!
Begin by tinting hard-boiled eggs with egg
dye or food coloring. Allow to dry, then use food-safe paints
or non-toxic markers to draw designs on the eggs. Plant grass
seeds in an earthenware container or
purchase potted grass at
a garden center, then gently nestle your decorated eggs in the
grass for all to see.

Use narrow
tape to mask around the egg and use food coloring or egg dye
to paint stripes in
various widths. Remove tape when dry and
surround egg with feathers and a pastel nest.

Hand paint
stripes, polka dots or flowers on your colored eggs using
food–safe paints.
Arrange your works of art with accenting
flowers and pottery to complete this spring table arrangement.

Gently
crack the top of a raw egg, remove the yolk and rinse. Sprout
real grass inside the shell,
and perch an adorable baby chick on the edge of the shell.
Place in the egg carton to display.
Use gold
sequins and white three-dimensional paint to decorate an
undyed egg with delicate
lace-like designs. Whether you create
a basket of simple colored eggs or intricate masterpieces,
remember to be creative and have fun! Happy Easter!
