The idea for the Venice Scarlet Macaw started 14 years ago when the owners, Paul and Peggy Matsko, drove through downtown Venice. It was at that time that Peggy thought, “This is the perfect location for a tropical resort wear shop.” Today, still under the same ownership, the Scarlet Macaw and the Matskos happily continue operation in downtown Venice.

When you enter the Scarlet Macaw, the management and sales staff warmly greet you and happily assist you. You will find many Florida and island fashions featuring tropical colors and comfortable fabrics that are well adapted for warm weather. Koret, Alfred Dunner, Liz Claiborne and Erin London are just a few of the well-known resort wear lines available in all sizes.

 Specialty clothing lines are also found at Scarlet Macaw. Sea Suns is known for their light fabrics, tropical colors and themes; Foxcroft provides wrinkle-free blouses; Bordado has pima cotton tees and tanks that get softer and more comfortable with every wash; and Sage Cotton sweaters are available in crop and tunic length with 3/4 sleeves. This is paradise found!
